A Note to My Juniors

Dear Juniors,

Welcome to this new and exciting journey of engineering. As you begin this phase, I’d like to share a few thoughts based on my experience in the first semester. College is not just about books and marks – it’s about learning from every person you meet, especially your seniors and teachers.

What I Got from My Seniors

• Guidance: From selecting the right books to preparing for practicals and exams, seniors were always there to guide me through.
• Support: During difficult times, they supported not just academically but emotionally too. They made sure we felt welcome and safe.
• Resources: Notes, previous year question papers, sample programs – seniors always had a way of sharing resources that helped a lot.
• Motivation: Listening to their experiences inspired me to do better and stay focused.

What I Got from My Teachers

• Knowledge: Teachers helped me understand complex topics in simple ways. Their experience made learning easier and more enjoyable.
• Discipline: They helped me become more regular and responsible towards studies and time management.
• Encouragement: Whether it was a small doubt or a big mistake, they always encouraged me to ask questions and keep improving.
• Life Lessons: More than academics, they taught us how to stay calm, focused, and respectful in every situation.

What I Expect From You

• Be Curious: Never hesitate to ask questions. Whether to seniors or teachers, be open to learning.
• Be Respectful: Respect your seniors and teachers. A good attitude opens doors to great help and guidance.
• Be Helpful: Support each other. What you learn today, share tomorrow.
• Be Responsible: Stay serious about your goals and actions. Your choices will shape your journey.

College will give you memories, friends, lessons, and a path to your dreams. Make the most of it. We, your seniors, are always here to help. Don't be afraid to reach out!
